This is the Master’s project of Chris Waugaman, graduate student in Kent State’s Journalism Advising Master’s Program.

Chris Waugaman, MJE is a 2012 Lowell Milken Fellow, 2011 Dow Jones News Fund Distinguished Adviser, the 2013 Lowell Milken Center Discovery Award Winner, and a 2014 Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Key recipient.

Chris teaches print and broadcast journalism, and AP Language and Composition at Prince George HS in Virginia, where he also advises the PGTV NEWS student broadcast pgtvnews.org, the Royal News student newspaper, the online news site trnwired.org, the online sports news site trnsports.org, and the school’s literary magazine. His students have won several national awards including multiple NSPA Pacemakers and Columbia Crown Awards.
